My husband and I could not be more thankful for Bobby! To start, he totally understood our crazy request to play music throughout the entire ceremony! (During our vows and everything!). It turned out so beautifully and everyone commented on how much our ceremony felt like a movie. It added to the emotion of the entire day! Second, Bobby completely understood that we wanted fun frenchy jazz music to jam to during our cocktail hour. I absolutely adored that he took the request not just in stride, but with enthusiasm! Best DJ I can recommend for absolutely any occasion!!! I have no regrets and wish I could relive my wedding all over again because of Bobby!! I had my wedding filmed and I haven't seen a packed dance floor at any wedding! From the ceremony he nailed it, to the dining part of the reception, to the very last song!!! My husband and I had the honor of having Bobby Duran provide the entertainment, lighting and MC-ing for our wedding on September 7, 2013. I first got a glimpse of his work at a very good friend's wedding. I noticed that he played all the right songs and the entire night he kept everyone on the dance floor, young and old. His music was ecletic enough to keep all ages on their feet. At that moment, I knew I had to have him for our wedding and when we hired him, he did not disappoint! He was very attentive to our needs of music genre, timing, equipment and flexibility. After just a few times in speaking with him, we knew he was a professional and we did not have to worry about any part of the entertainment. We had some requests that required perfect timing and coordination with our Officiant. Bobby took the time to talk to our Officiant and before we knew it, they all had it covered. The day came and Bobby shined in every way; he showed up early to set- up and make sure everything was perfect, he came equipped for each setting which consisted of the garden ceremony, the amphitheater dinner and the flower barn dance floor (which required a lot of flexibility), he even took the time to pick out stellar attire to go with the mood. At dinner time, I threw a last minute request at him to pick names out a bowl for some entertainment and he was able to transition perfectly. He had no quorums about my untimeliness. At the grand entrance he took the time to speak to each bridal party member to ensure he pronounced everything correctly and in order. They all appreciated that very much! By the time the dancing came around, he had everyone going all night long. There was not a moment where everyone wasn't dancing! It was the best night of our lives and a lot had to do with how much Bobby and his partner Mike had to do with it. We owe them a great deal of gratitude and my husband and I would recommend Bobby to anyone we meet. To this day, we still get compliments on the music, lighting and the master of ceremony abilities (MC) that Bobby so graciously provided. We were so blessed to have him a part of our day and we can honestly say that we are now blessed to call him a friend and have him a part of our lives!
